The Dichoto-Galafi Junction – Elidar – Belho Cement Concrete Road Construction Project will also be inaugurated during the day’s program.

Construction consulting and supervision will be provided by Smek International and Valuation Engineering as subcontractors.
The construction cost of the project will be covered by the Ethiopian government.
The asphalt road, which was less than 6 meters wide, will be 19 meters wide in the cities areas and 10 meters wide in the rural areas.

The road was constructed by Defense Construction Enterprise at a cost of over 2.4 billion birr.
Engineer Zewde Eskinder and Sim Consulting Engineer jointly participated in the consulting and supervision work.
The Ethiopian government has fully covered the cost of the road construction.
Due to the high temperature in the area, the construction is made of cement concrete, which increases the weather resistance and service life.
