President Isaias returned home in mid-morning hours today after three-day working visit to Ethiopia which was marked by tours to development projects. The two sides held extensive & frank consultations on bilateral & regional issues; and agreed to deepen their all-rounded cooperation

President Isaias Afwerki and his delegation returned home after three-day working visit to Ethiopia which was marked by tours to development projects.

President Isaias and Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed held extensive and frank consultations on bilateral cooperation and regional issues; and agreed to deepen their all-rounded cooperation.
During the visit, the Eritrean delegation visited various development projects among others, Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), Koysha and Gibe-III hydropower plants, Entoto Natural Park, the Ethio-Engineering Group, as well as the Head Quarter of the Ethiopian Air Force in Bishoftu.
President Isaias was seen off at the Bole International Airport by Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed and a number of high-ranking officials as well as the Eritrean Ambassador to Ethiopia Mr. Semere Russom.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on his social media page said the visit of President Isaias Afewerki was a success.
