President Isayas Afeworki is also expected to hold discussion with the Amhara regional leaders including the region’s president, Gedu Andargachew. However, it is unclear as to what the agenda items are for discussion.
A lot of Eritreans live in the city of Gondar and the region used to share border with Eritrea before Wolkait region was taken by Tigray regional state.
Isayas Afeworki and his Somalian president are scheduled to visit historical sites in the region.
